Job Accomodation Network Listing Links to State Vocational Rehab Offices Links to the state offices of vocational rehabilitation. Vocational rehabilitation can be a great resource for people with brain or spinal cord injury trying to return to work, enter the workplace, or return/attend school.
National Library of Medicine (NLM) Part of the National Institutes of Health, the NLM offers one of the largest databases of scientific publications. This is an excellent place to read abstracts of research articles that have been published. Also check out a more "user friendly" section of the site called "MEDLINE PLUS".

All TBI Model Systems are housed in or associated with well-established medical centers that provide high quality trauma care from onset of injury through the post-acute phase. There are currently sixteen TBIMS projects located throughout the United States. Links to each of the sites are posted below. People who have been cared for in a TBI Model System have been followed for up to 13 years post-injury. To date the Model Systems have collected information on over 3500 individuals with a traumatic brain injury.
After discharge these individuals are seen and evaluated annually, where basic information is gathered (job status, living situation, marital status, medical status, etc.). When all 16 sites gather their information, the collected information describes: (1) who sustains brain injuries, (2) what are the causes of the injuries, (3) what treatments are being used and how much they cost and (4) what the short- and long-term outcomes?
